Murray Thompson, State Member for Sandringham said, “Whilst every day should be a Clean Up Australia day, Sunday 6th March between 10.30 am and midday will see a special Clean Up Australia Day effort along the Sandringham foreshore.”
The meeting point on Sunday 6th March is the Sandringham Rotunda, opposite the intersection of Melrose Street and Beach Road, Sandringham from 10:30am to 12:00pm.
A local bagpipe player and trumpet player will be performing at the Rotunda.

Participants are encouraged to be sun smart and bring along sunscreen, drinking water and protective gloves and footwear.
“From 10 items to 10 minutes to 10 bags it all makes a difference” Mr. Thompson said.
